Wakefield Girls Youth Lacrosse is committed to developing confident, skilled athletes while encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth both on and off the field.  Our program is built on the belief that every player—regardless of experience or skill level—deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and feel supported as they develop their love for the game.

      We strive to create an inspiring and positive environment where girls can challenge themselves, celebrate their progress, and build friendships that extend far beyond lacrosse. 

      On the field, our players work hard, learn the fundamentals, and strengthen their lacrosse skills. Off the field, they develop confidence, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of community—all qualities that will benefit them long after the season ends.

      At Wakefield Girls Youth Lacrosse, our goal is simple: to provide a safe, supportive, and fun experience where young athletes can succeed, thrive, and discover the joy of playing a sport they love.

This season is the largest enrollment our program has ever had.  Thank you everyone!!

      Please use the link below to register your player(s) for the 2026 Wakefield Girls Youth Lacrosse season. Our Girls Program continues to grow each year and we are expecting to have a record number of registrations for this upcoming season. 

      To keep team sizes manageable for our coaches and to ensure every player gets ample time on the field, we will be implementing roster limits for each grade level in the Girls Program. We strongly encourage you to register your child early to secure a spot for the 2026 season. Once a grade level reaches its maximum capacity, additional players will be placed on a wait list.

• The Girls program uniform consists of two mandatory items and one optional item:
  • Mandatory:
    • Reversible Jersey
    • EITHER Shorts OR a Skirt
  • Optional
    • Shooter Shirt

• NEW Girls Players: must purchase the uniform outlined above.

• RETURNING Girls Players: The Girls uniforms remain unchanged from last year and returning players can use last year’s uniform for the upcoming season if the pieces still fit. Please check sizing for your player and order new individual pieces if necessary.

• UNIFORM NUMBERS: Players have the option of selecting a jersey number when they order their uniform.  We will do our best to accommodate each players request.  Every season we see players request the same select numbers, therefore, number assignments may need to be adjusted by grade level to avoid duplication. 

• If this is the case, we will make every effort to contact you to let you know of the change prior to the season.  We will try and assign numbers based on when your player was registered for the season.

Wakefield Youth Lacrosse is excited to announce we will be offering a Girls Kindergarten Clinic through our Girls program. 

Registration for the Girls Kindergarten clinic is separate from the padded co-ed K/1/2 Intramural program.

• Girls may participate in both programs this Spring if they would like; however, you must register your player up for both programs (i.e., signing up for the Girls Kindergarten Clinic does not automatically sign them up for the co-ed K/1/2 Intramural program).    

• Please purchase a uniform through the Girls Uniform Store for the clinic.
